Who we are

Ball Up Top is operated by PB Ent. LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information the Ball Up Top app and website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name or profile details you choose to provide.

Gameplay data. Your answers, scores, streaks, completion times, and Ball IQ ratings across game modes.

Device and usage data. Device identifiers, session identifiers, app version, operating system version, device model, and interaction events used to diagnose problems and understand which features are used. We use first-party analytics stored in Supabase for app analytics. We do not use this information for third-party advertising.

Website choices. On the website, you can choose essential cookies only or allow optional first-party analytics. You can revise that choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Push notification tokens. Only if you enable notifications. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

Purchase status. Apple tells us whether you hold an active Archive Pass entitlement. We never receive or store your payment card details.

Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and our reply.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we use information

To run daily games and save your progress; to calculate and display Ball IQ; to deliver notifications you have enabled; to unlock Archive Pass content; to diagnose bugs and improve the app; and to respond to support requests.

Legal bases for EEA and UK users

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligation where applicable.

Who we share information with

Apple. Apple processes purchases and subscriptions and provides entitlement status. Apple's own privacy policy governs that processing.

Supabase. Supabase provides database, authentication, and analytics hosting for the service.

Google. If you choose Google sign-in, Google helps authenticate your account.

Vercel. Vercel hosts the Ball Up Top website and related web services.

Legal. We may share information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or PB Ent. LLC.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept indefinitely.

Your rights and choices

Delete your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app: Settings, Account, Delete Account. You may also email hello@balluptop.app. If you have an active Archive Pass, deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

Access and correction. Email hello@balluptop.app to request a copy of your data or to correct it.

Notifications. Disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction of processing, and California privacy rights. We honor these requests regardless of whether a particular law applies to us. EEA and UK users may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children's privacy

Ball Up Top is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email hello@balluptop.app and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you use the app from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
